This is Niele, a character from a Brazilian comic book series named Holy Avenger (*1). Hope you like it!





(*1) Holy Avenger - Arguably the most successful non-child-oriented Brazilian comic, it is set in the medieval fantasy world of Arton, part of the RPG campaign setting Tormenta. The series lasted for 42 issues (40 regular ones and a 2-issues "post-end" story), drawn with manga-inspired art by Erica Awano. It ended only because authors wanted to give an ending to the plot, following the tradition of manga - which, unlike many U.S. comics (on which format most Brazilian comics are shaped), have a beginning, a development and an end.

(*2) Marcelo Cassaro (born August 15, 1970) is a Brazilian author of comics, RPGs and the sci-fi book Sword of the Galaxy (Espada da Galáxia). By far the most successful RPG author in his country, he is also known for creating Holy Avenger and Victory, as well as several other comics.

The brushwork on this is just spectacular, man. I like how you contrast a lot of detail in some places (the uh, wand-thing?) with a lighter touch in others (her hair) and I think it makes for a real effective contrast. :) Excellent work! Very well done!
